Adobe Ramps Down LiveCycle - Gartner Advises Customers
to Explore Alternatives to Adobe® LiveCycle®

Adobe Systems’ announcement that they intend to focus on digital marketing and digital media, followed by a significant round of layoffs, initiated a move away from their traditional enterprise business. While this is a great opportunity for Adobe, this is not good news for Adobe Enterprise customers. Shortly after, analyst group Gartner released a research report titled “Reassess Adobe’s BPM and CCA Platforms as its Strategy has Shifted”. In this paper, Gartner quotes Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch who said: "Adobe will ramp down its investment and its focus on LiveCycle but will continue to offer LiveCycle to the public sector and financial services sector.". Gartner goes on to recommend customers "explore alternatives".
